Перед авторами стояла задача получения и анализа данных об отношении к открытому доступу к научной информации в российском научном и образовательном сообществе.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Работа выполнена с применением методов статистической обработки результатов анкетирования. Материалы исследования включают данные, полученные в итоге обработки опубликованных результатов последних международных опросов в 2017–2018 гг., и исходные данные российского опроса, проведенного весной 2018 г. Проанализированы 1383 анкеты сотрудников 182 организаций. Проведен сравнительный анализ ответов для семи референтных групп различных ведомств, областей научного знания и профессиональной деятельности. Полученные данные для России сопоставлены с опубликованными данными об отношении к открытому доступу в университетах Европы и, в частности, Великобритании.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты исследования</title><p>Результаты исследования. Результаты опроса свидетельствуют, что 95% российских респондентов поддерживают движение за открытый доступ к научной информации, 94% готовы размещать свои статьи в репозиториях открытого доступа, 75% имеют опыт публикаций своих работ в открытом доступе. Сравнение результатов обработки анкет всех семи референтных групп не выявило существенных различий в уровне осведомленности и поддержки идей Open Access (OA). Различия обнаружены в структуре ОА публикаций авторов из университетов и НИИ.</p></sec><sec><title>Обсуждение и заключения</title><p>Обсуждение и заключения. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о высоком уровне поддержки идей открытого доступа со стороны всего российского научного и образовательного сообщества, а также об успешном опыте российских ученых в размещении своих работ в открытом доступе. Результаты исследования для России очень близки к результатам международных опросов и опроса университетов Великобритании, опубликованных в 2017–2018 гг. Стимулом для практической реализации идей открытого доступа в России могла бы явиться сформулированная позиция государственных структур и руководителей науки. </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. The paper presents survey results on the awareness towards and practice of Open Access scholarly publishing among Russian academics.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and Methods</title><p>Materials and Methods. We employed methods of statistical analysis of survey results. Materials comprise results of data processing of Russian survey conducted in 2018 and published results of the latest international surveys. The survey comprised 1383 respondents from 182 organizations. We performed comparative studies of the responses from academics and research institutions as well as different research areas. The study compares results obtained in Russia with the recently published results of surveys conducted in the United Kingdom and Europe.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Our findings show that 95% of Russian respondents support open access, 94% agree to post their publications in open repositories and 75% have experience in open access publishing. We did not find any difference in the awareness and attitude towards open access among seven reference groups. Our analysis revealed the difference in the structure of open access publications of the authors from universities and research institutes. Discussion and</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions. Results reveal a high level of awareness and support to open access and succeful practice in the open access publications in the Russian scholarly community. The results for Russia demonstrate close similarity with the results of the UK academics.
